ABOUT US
Who we are. The Center for Entrepreneurship, or CFE, operates as an administrative unit within the UNLV College of Business. The director of the CFE reports to the Dean.
What we do.
The Center manages the ENT curriculum across the university, provides support for ENT research, encourages the formation of new businesses by members of the UNLV community, and liaises with external and internal stakeholders.

OUR PEOPLE
Dr. Steven Phelanwas appointed as the director of the center in January 2008. He is also coordinator of non-degree programs in the College of Business and a tenured associate professor in the Department of Management.

OUR ADVISORS
Advisory Board. The CFE has been fortunate to secure the services of an extremely talented advisory board comprised of key donors and other local supporters.

Partnerships. The Center has a successful working relationship with many local stakeholders, including the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, the Latin Chamber, and the Nevada Small Business Development Center. We are also pursuing alliances with Zhejiang University in China and Bocconi University in Italy.
OUR RESOURCES
Incubator.One of the objectives of the Center is to work toward the establishment of an incubator/hatchery for entrepreneurial ideas on campus. An incubator is a low cost, supportive environment that helps new start-ups get establishment and develop to the point that they can stand on their own.
